Using scion budwood from immature tree

Hello. I would like to ask if its ok to use budwood from a young fruit tree (immature grafted mango tree). The tree is 3 years old and it came from a well known mango producing farm. Its not yet fruiting.

Yes is OK.. you can do.

First I don't know for sure but I expect if it is a grafted tree your scion should be ok and have the characteristics of a mature tree (as in like the source or mother tree), if it is a seedling I assume you new graft will behave like the seedling. 

I am curious though, what if you grafted unto a mature fruiting tree?  Would that make a difference?

The young tree is a clone of a national agriculture certified mango plant. It's really vigorous but is still immature and still not able to fruit. I was pruning it and was curious if its budwood can be use. Thank you all for the quick response.
