Willughbeia agustifolia Seeds for Sale
« on: January 05, 2013, 08:48:21 AM »
Monster vine to 60m and growing thicker than your arm.  On a strong trellis this plant creates 100% shade and will make a wall down to the ground from the outter edge of the trellis as well.  Loaded with fruits that are very good out of hand.  Brilliant orange flesh.  Plenty of edible portion on the seed.  Fruit the size of an orange and ripening with an orange skin.  10 seeds right out of the fruit 10 USD.  Limited supply.

I'm also happy to thrust my hand into the air with gusto. It may not go well here, but I won't know till I try!
I was hoping that link last week would inspire a seed hunting mission to the park 😄

That link was what got me motivated to go.  The first thing I did when I arrived was to ask about the Willughbeia species and I was so happy to see it loaded with fruit, some orange, then to taste it and experience that it was in fact as good as peoplle had written. It will be great for me in Belize if I buy jungle land.  I could just plant this by white poison trees and allow it to kill the trees.  I can't imagine any tree surviving this thing growing on it.
