Mature Healthy Mango Tree No Flowers/Fruit in 4 years (Valencia Pride)

Hey Guys

I have a VP tree that got pushed over about 10-15 degrees by the last hurricane we had.  Other than a minor list it has showed no damage or stress.  I know VP`s often skip a year, so until now it didn't seem unsual.   Prior to this it fruited regularly.
Tree continues to grow well and look healthy.  Any thoughts or ideas

I would not say VPs often skip years. I would say that is probably more uncommon. While it can, lost that I have seen fruit every year.

The last hurricane we had was Irma in September 2017. I am assuming that is the year that it got pushed over. If so, it has been less than 3 years since that event. When trees get severely stressed like that, they often take a little time to recover and get back on track to their normal fruiting ways.

I should have mentioned it didn't fruit in 2016 either which I had assumed was just as off year.

If it were me personally, I would remove the tree and replace it just based on my not liking of Valencia Pride in general (its growth habit is also a negative).

Have you been fertilizing it regularly? If you’ve been fertilizing it regularly and it’s still not producing, I would Top work it with a disease resistant and productive variety with a flavor profile that you like.

VP is usually very productive. I wonder if a major root was damaged and it has been spending the last 4 years trying to grow out new roots? This seems a bit excessive in your warmer climate and especially considering VPs vigorous growth habit.

If your tree is green, healthy and vigorous, you may be giving it too much nitrogen. I’ve seen this when people have fruiting trees in their lawns.

lIf they are wasted......Toooo late.......... They cannot be saved.  (Time cannot be saved, preserved, nor stored... Unfortunately for all of us)
... They seemed to reference 4 wasted years.
....I see by your next post (reply#8) you probably meant' "4 wasted years of growth." and not 4 wasted years (approximately 1461 days).
