Michael, I sent you a G. humilis
Hey everyone I am selling/trading off some of my extra stuff. I am not going to do it all at once cause I still haven't decided what I am gonna keep. Also I don't want to have to pack and ship 100 plants all at once lol.
I still have 2 Pouteria macrophylla available (I don't know anything about them...literally)
Now available 1 Garcinia acuminata, 1 Eugenia candolleana, and 1 Mexican Garcinia
All plants are $20 without shipping. I will ship however you want and will only add the cost of shipping and materials to the bill.
I am open to trades, I'm interested in basically anything, but pouteria, annona, myrciaria, artocarpus, and Mangifera will definitely peak my interest.
ALSO: I know I have a couple outstanding IOU's if you consider yourself to hold one of those and are interested in something I am offering, pm me and I will send you whatever you want. Free
Everyone else, PM me.
Questions and comments encouraged
I just received the Eugenia candolleana from David today and the plant is very healthy and looks
as good as it did in the photos,
Thanks David!

I have been sampling a few different avocado cultivars from here in S. FL over the past few months.
I was disappointed with Simmonds (seemed watery and bland)
Doni-- I expected this to be watery, so i guess it surprised me. I know it sounds crazy, but i enjoyed the doni i had more than simmonds. Not planting a tree, but not as bad IMO than I had heard.
Catalina-- just ok. I know people love it but it was still too bland/watery for my hass-loving taste buds.
Marcus Pumpkin-- Fruit was large. Better than Catalina to me, but still a little bland.
Oro Negro-- Finally, a FL avocado I really enjoyed (hasn't happened since "Cannonball" avocado last Spring). It was bigger than a fist, beautiful color outside and creamy yellow inside. I meant to sample the fruit just to compare to the others, and ended up eating the whole thing! I am glad I have this tree!!
Miguel--Again, I expected watery, but I enjoyed this avocado. It was creamy, had a good texture. Not really oily (like i prefer), but not bad for this time of year. I have this tree and I am glad.
Hall-- Good flavor and texture. I liked Miguel and Oro Negro better, but there's nothing wrong with Hall, as far as flavor goes.
Sorry I don't have pics, but I wanted to document the eating experience, as I have had a hard time trying to decide which avos are worth planting. Feel free to add more varieties that you try to this thread.
I should have some seed this fall. - Millet
Has anyone bought seeds of Alibaba?
I've been after Anne Raspberry for so long but I am sceptical of the Chinese seller on Alibaba. Although he has a high feedback rating and plenty of products, they are mostly seeds for which negative feedback can't really be left in time. He is also selling obviously photoshopped things like seeds of blue strawberries, etc.

I purchased one of these just in case we have an abnormal cold snap. I forget where I purchased it on sale, but got it
for a little over 1/2 of the price listed . I also have a dual zone thermostatically controlled heater and shade cloth for daytime.

I am interested in this and looks pretty good. Can this take heater?
Also, since this sits on the concrete in the back yard, what is the recommendation to put on the floor where this greenhouse is established? I ask this because, during winters, the concrete floor will be very cold.
Also, if I go with the garage or shed option, do I need to get the plants out during morning or will the grow lights suffice for lighting?
Thanks
