Found on My Kent Tree This Morning

Picked it this morning before the squirrels got to it. Weighed in at 3.2 lbs. Yum!

Nice tree  :) Looks like it was not affected by the mid-January freeze we got in St. Pete. I lost a whole lot of blooms and a Venus tree in my yard !!  :(

Man, you got lucky  :) Smaller trees and blooms (Cotton Candy, Maha, Phoenix, Valcarrie, LZ, Venus) planted in the north facing backyard all got burnt. Larger trees (Pim Seng Mun) re-flowered to produce 6 mangos  :(
Both longan trees came away unscathed, however, and have sizable crops. So all's not lost, yet!
I'm in south St. Pete. Where are you located?

Pinellas Park.

All my trees are on the south side so maybe that made the difference since my area is colder than south St. Pete.
You have a nice collection.

Thanks.
I think you're correct re south vs. north facing areas.
My trees that were in the front yard (Maha, Mallika, NDM, Juliette, Sweet Tart) and also south-facing, were not really affected much and are still dropping ripe mangos. The jackfruit, on the other, hand lost all its blooms and didn't re-flower...

Beautiful tree. However it must be hard to pick the fruits.

I'm open to any volunteers. I used to climb up and cut back the top limbs but getting too old to play Tarzan.
