I've only had fruit from one bush, but they tasted amazing, like guava + jaboticaba no bitter or astringency when fully ripe.

This tree is only about maybe 15-20 ft tall, and has produced probably a thousand or a couple thousand fruit. extremely prolific. I have huge quantities of seeds I can access(lots of fruit on the ground) and picked maybe 50 seeds worth of fruit.
