HELP!!! Still having trouble getting on the forum.

Still having trouble getting on the forum. Keep getting server not found errors when I try to use tropicalfruitforum.com directly on several browsers.  Seems like the only way I can get on now is by using the link from Facebook. It was working doing that for a while but Facebook is now wanting me to sign up for an account.  I refuse to do that so I might be done with the forum soon if I can't reliably get online. Which browser will work? I was already online on one device to make this post, but can't get on with any others.

I'm on Google and you can access the forum by typing in tropicalfruitforum.com in the address bar. If I just search for the forum on Google, any links to the site don't work

I don't think it would be a browser issue. It could be some type of content filtering software, trying to protect you from all the shady characters on the forum.  It could be an issue with name resolution, converting www.tropicalfruitforum.com from a name to an ip address. Reboot your internet equipment. If that does not work, the IP settings in the equipment for DNS(Domain Name server) may be wrong or outdated. Check with your internet service provider. If those are good, you may have a deeper issue. I think the forum was migrated to a different environment or something on the 8th or 9th and, if the ip address changed, it is possible you are not getting the updated address.

I downloaded Firefox and made it my default browser it is working now, thanks very much.

Tony, has to be browser settings on your end.  I use old i.e., latest msft browser on pc, outdated o.s. safari on ipad & newer phone with safari.  All work.  However last week maybe it was, this site was down a few hrs.  Actually wasn't down, address was adding "new" to it which i removed & site worked.  That was corrected though same day.

I still get 404 errors on all links to this forum from web searches, no matter what browser I use. Seems to have started around the same time they switched hosts a couple weeks back.

People need to be clear, are you having issues getting to the site directly through your browser (by typing tropicalfruitforum.com or through same saved as a bookmark/favorite) or just through Google topic searches?

the only way i access this site is through google and thats where the 404 error has been for weeks for me. I actually thought the site had been hacked or shut down.  Only yesterday did it open for me for the first time since before x mas

If you type tropicalfruitforum.com in your browser's address bar and then add the site to your favorites,  I doubt you will have any issues.

I was able to replicate this. From a google search, clicking the result www.tropicalfruitforum.com failed with a 404 error. The only difference I can see is that the request has "Referer: https://www.google.com/" in the header. I clicked the browser refresh button, which removes the referer and the site rendered properly, but without my automatic sign in.
