Grafting on flying dragon
« on: August 27, 2014, 06:17:50 PM »
Does anyone have a suggestion to increase take chance of grafting on flying dragon? In a decent cleft grafter on citrus (80% of takes) but when it comes about grafting on flying dragon i see the percentages drop under the floor. I have most of my problem in grafting small green twigs, they are tricky to do a decent straight cut for the scion (which usually is the usual wedge).
One more thing: it's just me or all the poncirus plants do produce less callous tissue than other citrus?
Thank you for any suggestion.
