Dear friends,
I was one of the first in this group and in many others to promote the discovery of the DUGUETIA LEPIDOTA also called Yara Yara by the indigenous people of Venezuela.
This specie represents a true and ultra rare treasure we all need to protect in our garden: the fruit is simply AMAZING. Duguetia lepidota is an exceptionally good tasting fruit if not the best tasting Duguetia ever. The flavor reminds of a very sweet apricot. Interestingly the center of the fruit is also edible and surpasses the pulp around the seeds in sweetness. It is a initally slow growing tree and starts bearing fruit after 8 to 9 years under good conditions. The tree is ultratropical and seeds start germinating after about 1 year.
Since it's very truly difficult to get very fresh seeds of this specie in years, you can imagine this is a one off sale occasion, only 80 seeds available. You can register your profile and buy seed at this link:

But it's not all: I have also available very fresh DUGUETIA PERUVIANA: it is a slow-growing evergreen tree with a globose, dense crown, that can reach a height of 7-10 metres. It is a rare species only found in Ecuador and Peru.
It has an edible fruit that is first green and turns red when ripening. The succulent pulp around each seed has a sweet flavour.
The fruit is around 9cm in diameter. So rare that it worth to have even for protection!

Last but not leats: I have a vary good and selected variety of ANNONA CRASSIFLORA straight from Cerrado. This variety demonstrated to be well established in middle-south European climate. That means you can have good chance to cultivate it outdoor if you can replicate the soil and exposure. This is a great advantage for big fans of the king of Cerrado!
This variety is top quality in terms of pulp/seeds ratio and texture. It has been selected and tested here in Italy in my garden. Very good sweet persistent flavour and meaty texture.

ALL SEEDS SHIPPED FROM EUROPE!
