Title: Calamondin-odd brown stripes on leaves
Post by: thewallace on June 26, 2019, 08:32:49 PM
I have a 30 year old Calamondin with an affliction I cant diagnose. I keep it in a ceramic pot and being I'm in New England I keep inside in the Winter and move it outside in the late Spring.

For the last two years each Spring, many leaves will get a brown stain which oddly will usually only show on one side (see attachment). It doesn't scratch off, its internal to the leaf. When it did this last year I repotted it in a new container with new soil and changed fertilizer. But the same brown stain appeared again this Spring. Has anyone seen this before?  Some mineral deficiency?

Please post a photo of a leaf. Sounds like it might be sun scald but I need to see an aflicted leaf to be sure.

The damage on the leaves shown in the photos are all on the same side of the leaf.  Therefore, the damage must be from sunburn
