Jabotica paulista droopy leaves - what is wrong?
« on: July 09, 2019, 08:27:20 PM »
Plant is in partial shade, just put it in sun for the picture. Soil is kept moist. This is in Santa Barbara region which has been a bit cold and foggy recently. What could be causing this? What should I do to remedy?

Some type of shock. I'd keep it indoors from the cold and out of direct sunlight with soil moist. Hopefully new leaves would emerge. And don't be tempted to fertilize.

No where to plant it ...but at least I got it. ;)

I would shade it completely with indirect sun and keep it in a humidity dome.

good thing it's just a surinam cherry and not a paulista, that would be harder to replace.
