Hi guys im new to the forum and found it while searching on google. I recently started my journey into avocado trees and purchased my first ones a Nishikawa and Yamagata. I am looking for a source to buy Kahaluu and Malama trees from for my land. any info you can provide is greatly appreciated. thanks
http://www.frankiesnursery.com/here is a definitely source for trees... Kahalu'u is pretty good avo... I guess as good as any other good avo... thick, high oil content, soft creamy, rich flavor, somewhat nutty... The chefs rated it the best in Hawaii, but all the Kahalu'u's ive tried were not the best ive had.
Interested in updates from those in Florida growing Malama avocado. Also interested in anyone in Florida that is growing sharwil or semil-34...
