In Coral Springs (north Broward) we have hail the size of quarters right now! love it.........NOT

So if I wanted to get a ZILL Maha Chanok how would one go about doing that? who sells ZILL trees in broward county?

HAHAHAHAH Too late now, he already signed the contract :-).

hehe emperor was in the minor leagues for over 5 years; batted .600 in that time :-). My big mauritius, that's been on the starting line-up for that long has only hit .200 :-).

haha OK based on faith that my emperor will do well in my yard and that he will not commit suicide, I've planted a nice big one out where my hachiya persimmon used to be :-). Zands would probably call that a change in my starting line-up :-). Normally I prefer multi-season bo jackson winter / summer performers, but I'm going to give mr emperor a shot at the big leagues :-).

Every baseball scout is looking for that kid, that raw talent, who makes it from the bush leagues into the big leagues and produces. Then he gets to brag about the phenomenal kid he discovered.
Seems to me hitting .600 off the bench you should keep that emperor as your pinch hitter. some just perform better off the bench then they do in the starting line up
Let's hope it's more of a Miguel  Cabrera then a Josh Hamilton! Both great players but one of them is suicidal and has a 24/7 keeper, the other just likes to drink...lol

« on: April 01, 2013, 05:20:34 PM »
How many of you have there soil tested? do you do it yourself or do you send it out? And is it important to test your soil or just plant it and let mother nature do take of it for you?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / 2 trees in 1 hole
« on: April 01, 2013, 05:14:28 PM »
Ok there was a post about what mango tree to plant and someone said plant both in 1 hole....need to know more about this if you have 2 trees that will grow about the same rate say a Angie & a Maha Chanok you can dig one large hole and put both trees in the same hole and all should go well? or do you need to space them around 3 or 4 feet?, seems like a lot of people would be able to plant more trees if you can double plant like that. So if any of you have done this and its working out well please let the rest of us know!

413
explain to me the 2 trees in one hole thing, you just dig a hole that is big enough for two trees and plant them together? one wont kill the other off of starve it for sun & food? If this theory really works it would solve a few of my own problems.

They are also on the leaves of the tree, it's an odd looking beetle and it flys pretty damn good. I'll post some pics of the leaves it is eating (or I think he's eating it) just the edge of the leafs are eaten
