I saw mention of this in my local newpaper and it referenced new Federal regulations.  Is 0.2ppm chlorine in water harmful to chlorine-sensitive plants when used for irrigation?

I found a chart that seems to confirm that <70ppm is safe for all plants.  So this should be no problem.

I don't keep many long-term container plants but have seen on here some folks who noted benefits of non-chlorinated water. The article seems to be speaking of in-ground crops.
