.@mattlanza freeze to the coast Sunday -- flurries hopefully at least in Los Angeles https://twitter.com/RyanMaue/status/407942323977216000/photo/1

If you took the Euro op literally for Saturday night, conditions somewhat similar to 1/9/49, the last time it snowed in Los Angeles.

NOAA is forecasting 64/45 in my area for Sunday this front is nowhere near the arctic freeze of January were we bottom out at 35F for two nights.....models look pretty close to me about 8-10 below the average.

Snowfall totals (estimate based on ECMWF sfsfc variable 10:1 liquid equiv) 10-day totals: https://twitter.com/RyanMaue/status/407947854431264768/photo/1

e.g. morning lows 40-50°F below average most assuredly overdone b/c of snow cover -- but near 0°F actual temps legit https://twitter.com/RyanMaue/status/407946963384954880/photo/1

Glad that our weather's supposed to start warming up soon. Getting tired of this:

And to top it all off, the thai grocery store didn't get their shipment of mangosteen and langsat this week.  :Þ

In Coral Springs FL USA it went down to 50 degrees for one night and the next day it was 80 degrees so I did not even bother to bring anything in. November felt like summer and we also got around 11 inches of rain for the month.

Harri,
Please stop this powerful marketing advertisement!  Otherwise, the biggest flock of snow birds will land in La Florida, before the end of the year!  Please don't rush them!  Eventually, they will make it here! ahahahaahahahahahaha

I like to get the Winter weather report from my niece, in Toronto, Canada and compare it to our cold climate here in SW Florida....ahahahahahahahahaah

The last 4 days we've been in the 80's. Christmas Day was 84F as well as today.....it's 77f right now at 6pm. The forecast calls for more of the same until new year and the month of January looks like it will be like January 2012' high 76 lows 52F. We are still dropping below 50 for a few hours in the mornings almost a 40 degrees swing almost everyday.

Don't mind the heat, but unfortunately I think its going to be a dry year  :-\. Lets hope water restrictions don't come into affect.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
