Tropical Fruit Discussion / Has anybody seen any yellow dragon fruit sold at fruit markets in Los Angeles?

I live in the Los Angeles area, and I was wondering if anyone has come across the yellow Columbian dragon fruit in any markets, I'm of course talking about the fruit itself and not the plant. I'm just curious because I usually come across the red, and white fleshed varieties at fruit markets but I never seem to come across the yellow variety.

I've had this Mango tree that has been grown from seed from a neighbor who brought it from Mexico, and it has been growing in my backyard for years now and it gives very sweet fiberless fruit but I don't know what variety it is.

Hello, I was thinking about using a 55 gallon water barrel to plant a Purple Mangosteen in because I've heard about their taproot and I was wondering if it seems like a good idea? Has anyone had success growing them in a container? If so what size ?

I want to grow Purple Mangosteen in my yard and I'm looking for advice on how to care for the tree like what size container would be good for a seedling for the first few years, type of soil that works well, and etc. Anything will help to give me some knowledge on how to care for this exotic fruit tree.
