WANTED: fresh muscadine and scuppernong seeds
« on: September 01, 2015, 03:55:28 PM »
I would like to start a collection of different-colored muscadines, from seed, and can at least cover shipping expenses.

I realize that collectors have very-specific interests, here, but am open to barter, if I have something in your wishlist.

Let me check my vines tomorrow, when it's light. Season is over here but I might be able to
find some stragglers on my Carlos and Higgins vines.

You can go to ebay and find a variety of muscadines at about 5$-$8 each. Small plants. Group therm together to save on shipping. Get Ison and Southern Home if you see them. Both are black grapes

and there are other sellers but they must be waiting for the heat to subside for safer shipping or plants to get larger

This one is southern home and I can tell the photo is accurate 'cause I have it

Let me check my neighbor's vine later today. Good fruit quality muscadine but unknown cultivar. Might be some still on the vine let you know.
Trying to grow it all!
