Could anyone please confirm id of that artocarpus. I reckon it is a marang but not sure. That young tree is about 4 years old.

Quite an interesting one then. Hopefully someone will be able to identify it accurately so then I can register it in the collection with the right label. From what I remember those trees are from seeds I got from Indonesia about 4 years ago. But as I have many all over the property, I lost labels for some of them including that one.

Any other ideas ?

I can only tell you what is not among less common species. Not anisophyllus, elasticus, hirsutus, not keleang, maranag, pedalai....Might be one of those I don't have: a. rigidus, a. tamaran, a. lakoocha and few other species I don't remember by name at the moment. Also Indonesian sellers had few ultra rare recently discovered species without scientific name. Just artocarpus spp., not described in any literature. I bought one of those myself from Indonesian sellers about 4 years ago. I don't have that tree anymore. So, maybe that's what you have. It's going to be long wait before you find out for sure :)

I don't think it can be lakoocha. I have ordered seeds of a.rigidus in the past, but cannot find any pics of young tree/leaves to compare.

Hi, in my opinion it not Marang, look like A.nitidus or A.Lakoocha, my marang and monkey jack tree

Yes I agree, after close look at it, it is definitely not a marang. But I still have difficulties to distinguish juvenile kwaimuk, lakoocha, nitidus etc... for me they all look pretty similar when juvenile.

Can anyone help with an ID? Unsure on age, probably 15 feet tall, not sure if it’s edible. Thanks

Could be a ficus species.

It could be lakoocha. Definitely not kwai muk. I have nitidus, but the leaves are not glossy like that.
