Is it Selma, that pink cherimoya variety? Actually I think Selma is still green on the outside.

There are always new atemoyas being bred also that remain un-named and only odd ones get released when many are pretty good.

The quest is to bred an atemoya or 'nearly atemoya' with red skin, red in the flesh, the taste of the mammoth lines and seedlessness of them also as well as disease resistance and productivity. Recrossing to the best cherimpoyas and sugar apples with custard apples and ilama is some trials and the results seem to just get disposed of. I heard there have been some real crackerjacks developed but not the magic bullet to take down all the existing types with brand recognition.
