Maprang and Anthracnose

Anyone have info on this? is it more resistant than those resistant mango varieties?

It should be more resistant than the average mango.  It grows under ultra-tropical conditions.

Maprangs of all varieties are way more resistant to anthracnose than Manifera indica of cv's.Some of the mayon chid varieties have been developed and the very seasonal parts of thailand at 18 latitude and they show no sign of anthracnose during the wet season.They are grown in some parts of nth Qld where rainfall is 160 inches/yr and they don't show signs of anthracnose.I have seen a couple of sickly damaged trees with what could be mild anthracnose but I'm not sure if that is what it was.

No sign of anthracnose on mine, growing here in Florida, even this year, virtually our wettest rainy season in modern times.

Haven't seen any anthracnose on my maprang trees. Mine haven't fruited yet so can't tell you whether fruit is susceptible. My guess is that it's probably not, or at least a lot less so than mango.
