Toppy told me you were coming out that day and wish I could've made it.  Glad you rec'd it to Pete as his youtube skills are definitely top notch!  I've spent ALOT of time with Toppy over the past 5 yrs, and he is the most genuine person you'll ever meet.  Our small residing group of neighboring families have spent plenty of hours around that Tice mulberry every spring.

$10-$20 mil is a bit of a stretch as of right now, but half that wouldn't be out of the question.  North MI homeowners association and planning/zoning boards are fighting these small tract developments but losing some big battles lately.  Either way, I'm cherishing the time we still have with this property and most importantly, Toppy himself.

BTW - That Sap was a Morena.

If using Priority mail I'd probably just ship as clusters (stems attached), with paper or possibly leaves as some type of cushion.  If it's not going to be chilled and/or "treated" then any type of polyethylene wouldn't work in my opinion.  Trapping moisture opens the possibility of fungus and leaving the stems attached will give it a little more shelf life at it's disposal.

I have ZERO experience in shipping these btw.  I just know what we regurgitate when selling them at my neighbors fruit stand with the whole no plastic bags and so forth.

JoeP,

Do you remember when you harvested the lychees?  Seetheart and Hak Ip (both usually small seed) are usually around late June where Emperor's are more around late Aug/early Sept.  Bengal is another large fruit/large seed, however I can't seem to remember when we harvest those.  Btw, this is the "norm" for central Brevard (whatever that may be).
