Which one would you choose Glenn or Gold Nugget?....This tree will be planted on the ground...

Not sure when they would come in in Cali but here in SFla those are at each end of the ripening spectrum.  Wonder if there would be any issues with Gold Nugget in your Cali weather if it comes in late there also.  Another determining factor would be what is your rainfall like when Glen would be ripening in your area.  Glenns have an adverse reaction to rain as they become watery and lacking in sweetness and flavor.

I agree with some, I would go off the board and chose something totally different.  What about a Dot, Southern Blush, Cushman, Mahachanok, CC, LZ, Edward, Neelam, Mallika...

I am very happy with my Glenn. It produced at least 300 fruits this year, and I thought that only 10-20% of the crop tasted at all watered down, despite our heavy rain this season. It seems to be a hardy, consistent mango.
