« on: July 30, 2017, 06:21:42 PM »

Yes that's the variety name!😂 Lol
Ok seriously talking I have been messenger with a guy from Sabah, Borneo. He is sending me seeds of longan lada, and some Durian seeds, he told me that the tree in the picture is from a new variety call Monthong (I know is not new) that those grafted trees can bear in tree years and in a pot, would that be possible? I want to express he is not selling me anything so he doesn't have reason to misslead me he said the grafted tree costs 50usd..

That is pretty awesome no matter what. I would imagine that its bonsai'ed to the extreme and fruiting as a result of stress. That and I bet it has roots crawling through the bottom of the pot. Even with all that, just for this picture its still awesome.

Maybe a grafted tree in Sabah, with super hot-humid tropical climate year round  can if given max fertilizer and TLC  fruit in 3 years. But you live in Puerto Vallarta,, which means at the very least 5 years for a grafted tree to fruit.

You are right, what means TLC?

TLC is abbreviation for: tender loving care.

There isn't enough soil in the pot to support tree of this size, what to speak of producing four full size fruits. Not very good photoshop overall, besides left bottom durian is missing it's stem :)

Durians are also heavy fruits. They cannot hang from tiny branches, like shown in that photo.
