Growth habit of Phoenix mango tree.

(1/3) > >>

MangoMan2:
Has anyone had a Phoenix mango tree long enough to be able to describe the growth habit of the tree. And do you like the flavor of the fruit.

I did a search, and no info available .

Thanks,

Joe.

I don't think there is much info out on the grafted tree since it just came out

So far my Phoenix tree is on its 3rd flush for this year. I planted it in "winter"
Tipping delays a new flush so i guess it could have grown faster if i didn't.
Tipped (when i first bought it), 1st flush, 2nd flush, Tipped, 3rd flush

My friends cotton candy tree is flushed 5-6 times in a pot (from a 3 gal, now in a 15 gal), he bought it the same time i got the phoenix.
Its like 7 feet tall now. No tipping though

behlgarden:
Mine in ground for 8 months with two flushes but very small flushes, appears to be slow grower in CA.

Can someone please post pictures of new fresh growth leaves and matured leaves? wanted to compare if I got real one, lately Florida nurseries are sending us mislabeled stuff.
