Protect from everything. Give lots of water. Treat it like mangosteen as it seems close to equal in its tolerances, or lack thereof, to cold, dry, wind, sun etc.
I've not had the chance to eat it, but I've been told its quite good if you dont mind some tart. It looks and tastes like a mini tart mangosteen with a red carp. Juicy melting flesh. Mine got knocked around by our 60day dry and cold spell and I had to dig it up after its shade plant got taken out by borers. I'm hoping it wakes back up as its not looking too good.
