Wanted: Calabash Mango

Does anyone know a local (south Florida) source for Calabash mango trees and if they have a different name locally.  That is what they are known as in Trinidad.

No different name locally. I think this is a cultivar unique to Trinidad. I'll check with my aunt in Homestead to see if she has a tree.

Ahh yes... my beloved Calabash mango. I got a friend with a huge tree in Arima. Hopefully when I visit this September, I'll get to graft one or he'll have some sprouted seedlings on the ground (assuming it's poly). Starch mango is another one I'd like to get. Dense, yellow, sweet and chalky.

No where to plant it ...but at least I got it. ;)
