I'd really like to have one of these. Guabiju speaks to me. Even the latin name, Myrcianthes pungens, sounds like a tree I'd really get along with. Looking for anything, seeds, cuttings, seedlings, anything. I'm in Central Florida. I've never had one, but I feel as though I need to. Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Have you eaten the fruit?
I have 3 youger trees from 2 different sources but they haven't fruited yet.

Search for "huertasurbanas" here.

If anyone inside the us (preferably Florida) has any seedling they want to trade hit me up. I’ve got hella myrtaceae up for trade.
Also does anyone know the graft compatibility with myrcianthes fragrens? I’d be down to trade something for some bud wood and Be the test dummy.

I'm in the market for guabiju seeds as well, from the USA.

I haven't, but I've read about them a ton. I can't imagine that they taste bad though. Have you tried the fruit before? It seems that they are pretty hard to come by.

They taste very good! I may have some extra seeds before too long.

I am stocked on a bunch of 4" Guabiju seedlings that are ready to be potted up!
Contact me if you are interested in any seedlings. They are from seed of Marcos' early bearing Guabiju.
