last summer, whenever i ate tropical fruit, i planted the seeds - didnt keep track- could be mangosteen, jackfruit, passionfruit, custard apple, canistel, pulsan.
any ideas?

Passion fruit. The first couple sets of leaves look like that. Then it starts developing more of a maple leaf look to it.

No. But seedling passion fruits are fine.

That's a passion fruit (maracuja) seedling. They come very close to the mother vine/fruit. I grow a large yellow variety from Brazil.

I have a ross sapote at looks just like that!!!
the way I tell what plant is what, is to break the leaf and smell it...
