Wow, those look amazing. Thanks for sharing. Now all I have to do is wait about 10 years for my seedlings to fruit. Micah, have you heard about Lucs Garcinia or Mexican Mangosteen that is supposed to have larger fruit?

Yes I have heard of it.! How exciting, its unbeleivable! ...I ordered some seeds from Luc recently..I think they should be sprouting soon:)...thi is the next tree that the family will ritually pee on once its bigger:) maybe thatll shave of a year or two of waiting.

I noticed that your fruits look yellow to bright yellow. Is it just the lighting?

The aussi ones look orange to dark orange.

I wonder if they are of two different varietys?

anyone growing achacha in florida?  I am intrigued by the exotic nature of it, the reported taste, and that it can handle shade (as can cacao I am told).  Any grafted varieties available?

yes the achacha in the picture does turn more orange when riper...usually my kids convince me to harvest early...they are a little less sweet...but still choice

Hello all.  Great pictures and info.  If anyone wants info on fruiting mangoes from seed, I will be glad to give advice because we do crosses and grow thousands of them from seed.
