Frank, that's the Genova Red you said was from Harry, right? The real deal!
Frank That Genova Red is a beautiful fruit. I definitely want my name on the list for a grafted tree. Do you ever have trouble with the fruits cracking ? I've read where that's a problem with Ilama. What has your experience been ? William
In Florida they crack, but when I was in El Salvador, I did not see any cracking. Maybe the locals were just anxious. Ahhhh man, those were good memories, a couple Ilamas a day, countless fresh cocnuts, grilled corn on the cob, and surfing Punta Roca/ El Zonte/ Sunzal.
Beautiful fruit JF, you've got quite the collection going. Makes me want to graft more varieties onto my established trees. Thanks for sharing.Simon
