Title: ISO finger Australian lime varieties other than standard green.
Post by: Longranger on July 10, 2020, 03:41:03 PM
I am looking for a source, Nursery or forum member, from which I could get some finger lime varieties in California other than standard green. Probably a longshot but thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Four winds growers had it, but they are out now.  Send them an email ask when they will be available.

Check McKenzie-farms.com for red exterior/ pinkish pulp. I believe, you never know until fruiting. Great couple who run this farm. Might be a waiting list.  I thought I sent an earlier message and it disappeared.
Check Etsy..saw expensive one $279. Red exterior/ wine red pulp
Check uscitrus.com
You in Cali. Many farms. Check YouTube.

Let me know on acquisitions,
Luck..

Logees has their red finger limes in stock again. They come small, very over priced, but good trees.

I don't think Logees presently has Red FINGER Limes in stock.  What they have is Australian Red Lime which is not a Finger Lime..

I suppose not “finger” limes, but they share the same orb-pulp qualities! I honestly didn’t know there was a difference between the two. What makes logees red lime so special?
