Yes! Excellent works Adam! Thanks so much for getting these out there to alot of people and having the foresight to plant out so many good cultivars and do seedling selection.
So if I may ask, what other fruits are you growing that you have put the work in with ,like the Loquat’s?

Some varieties are listed here:

https://crfg.org/wiki/fruit/white-sapote/

Others you can glean information from doing a forum search of the variety.

You should be fine. I have Cherimoya planted in clay waterlogged soil .

Florida is humid, lots of CA areas are not humid. San Diego & LA is a desert by the ocean.
If overhead misters are impractical for you then spray as fine a spray as possible from hose nozzle or backpack sprayer, with rain water or as dechlorinated water as possible.

Hi Joe,
Atemoya does not fruit well at all in my climate, even with hand pollination, they just grow.
It’s all about Cherimoya here.
I can’t reference the source of this budwood either.
Take care!

Chinadoll is different from big white.

Argelino makes 2 crops a year May and August and some in between so maybe just 1 long crop if you want to look at it that way.

$200 on ebay. The hype is real.  Everyone is going to think they really need it. Size does matter apparently.
So many good loquat varieties out there.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Will White Sapote produce in tropics?
« on: March 31, 2020, 11:41:55 AM »
White Sapote is an amazing tasting fruit.
The best taste description I can come up with is Pear flan. Sweet and silky smooth.
Just dehydrated some for the first time so good.
I farm in small town sized yards and have multiple fruiting tree’s in each yard now.
So productive and delicious.
The first fruit I ever tries was in Florida outside Kampong and I thought it was terrible.
This has happened to me a number of times with various fruits , and then you try a really good one and it flips your view. I try to always be open to trying a fruit again if I didn’t like it the first time.
Climate and cultivar matters as well as many other factors.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: How to germinate annona seeds?
« on: March 28, 2020, 08:36:58 PM »
You could try buying fresh seeds straight from the source on this forum instead of seed middlemen who had to buy the seed’s so they also have to sell them , despite the fact they may have been sitting around awhile.
Also the shortest distance/time shipped and the season shipped can make a difference. Best of luck on your next batch of seeds.

This is my last blast for the season so please get your order in by tomorrow morning.
Thanks

Can do Itay. Please send PM
