Is Lemon Merengue Mango a “Manila” mango?

Is po pyu kalay a Manila mango? I want to grow some Manila mangoes but I’m not interested in ataulfo mangoes. Any known Manila mango varieties anyone could recommend?

No. Po Pyu Kalay is native to Burma. It was brought to the U.S. in 1995 by Maurice Kong along with I believe 6 other varieties. The Manila mango is native to the Phillipines. It is commonly grown in Mexico and used as a rootstock in California.
