2nd 4th and 5th are bunchosia, 1st and 3rd look like parmentiera. Check your records. I can even see a withered bunchosia flower spike in pic 4

Jaime, keep in mind that mature leaves on trees can sometimes look quite different than juvenille leaves.

Yes, Oscar, I did think about that, yet I'm having a hard time making a connection from the leaves on the F&S plant and my plant.

BMc, if the plant or pic numbers you are referring to are the ones I posted on Wed. those are all pics of the same tree.

All the photos that Jaime posted have opposite leaves. Both Parmenteria edulis and Parmenteria cerifera have opposite leaves: http://www.desert-tropicals.com/Plants/Bignoniaceae/Parmentiera_edulis.html
http://herbaria.plants.ox.ac.uk/vfh/image/index.php?item=599
Only the photo you posted Adam has alternate leaves, so what you posted cannot be Parmenteria edulis.

Oscar,

look below, Jez251 posted pics of a tree with alternate leaves...not me.

it was of his plant labeled guajilote...which can't be the same as the one from F&S.

I disagree with number two being the questionmark tree. I'd put a few dollars on it being the cucumber tree - parmentiera edulis/aculeata

I compared my parmentiera edulis (guajilote) plant with the #2 plant and can see that they are different plants. Here are pics of my guajilote:

#2 plant

The guajilote has rigid branches and leaves, while the #2 plant has very pliable branches and leaves.

OK Adam, i see now it was Jaime who posted it. First photo has alternate leaves and Jaime calls it guajilote, but that can't be right. Second photo could be guajilote as it has opposite leaves. Photo from F&S park without serrated leaves also has opposite leaves and could be parmenteria.

bMc called it.

it's bunchosia argentea..(plant that's got opposite leaves from F&S.

small white dots on stems make it easy to tell it's bunchosia.

there's more than one species in the photos.

one looks like bael, with trifoliate leaves.

photos in order....bael, pb fruit, bael, pb fruit, pb fruit
Now I'm really confused as I finally found a guajilote tree at the F&S Park and those leaves don't look at all like the ones I have:

You could be right Adam. But bael usually has thorns and i don't see any thorns in that first photo.

Speaking of Bael fruit, I really enjoyed the flavor but the stickiness texture was a bit of a problem.
