Keitt mango tree in a container
« on: June 01, 2018, 05:39:39 PM »
anyone got one?  Just curious how it does in a pot growth wise and fruit production wise?  Don't think it's even a "semi dwarf" variety?

Keitt cannot be grown in a container. Try Pickering instead. Or a Honey Kiss.

Dwarf Hawaiian

Totally forgot about that  one.. stays really small and tastes great! Keitt and Honey Kiss are late season.   Dwarf Hawaiian is one of the early ones.

DH is one of the few that do well in a container. Container amenable plus late season is going to be a stretch -- analogous to finding a pro football player who is also a Nobel Prize winner.

Neelam is a possibility?
