Anyone in SoCal or in non traditional cherry growing territory successfully get this variety to flower? I have 2 trees and this is the second year I’ve had them. Buds are breaking but no flowers (again). Wondering if this is not truly low chill as the tag states ithe chill hours are questionable.
I have royal lee and Minnie royal that have fruited for me and one of them has 6 little Cherries already so far (I know it’s early in the season)

Not surprising with the warm winter this year. I planted a bare root tree a few weeks ago. Maybe it will get blooms next year. Fingers crossed.

I didn’t take into account that it might have a higher chill hour requirement than the other 2 low chill cherries. That being said, the other 2 are partially flowering and setting fruit. One of them flowers before the other and is getting pollinated somehow. I don’t think they are self fruitful like 6gm25.

I dont see a chill hrs number from dave wilson on it. The minnie royal and royal lee say 200-300.
I put in those 2 trees this year also.
I put in a lapins (400hrs) tree last year. It hasn't started pushing yet at all.
My florida prince peach is is full bloom and already set tons of fruit. I think that tree is only 150hrs. I have a few other 200-300hr stone fruits that havent started pushing anything yet.

Lots of leafy growth but no flowers. My royal lee just stating pushing out and my Minnie royal looks to be sleeping in.
