Thanks Squam, that's what I had read about avocado grafting, I have 3 rootstocks I want try grafting onto. Do you have Oro Negro and/or Nishikawa trees/scions?

Have both but currently the Nishikawa needs to put on some growth before we harvest more scions from it. Oro Negro has plenty. Just contact us directly if you’d like to place an order at some point.

Oro Negro has always been a heavy bearer for me. The tree now holds Sharwil and Lamb Hass and at least a couple of it's own branches.

I see the photo option is down again.

Don't bother, there's much better choices unless you want it for rootstock.  Fruit used to be grown and sold here in the RGV (Rio Grand Valley) and the seedlings are used as rootstock for the Tex-Mex varieties by some.
