I'm looking for seeds/acorns of Texas live oak Quercus fusiformis (also referred to as Quercus virginiana var. fusiformis) which should be in season right now and hardier than the regular southern live oak.

Hello, I'm looking for seeds/acorns of Quercus fusiformis (Quercus virginiana var. fusiformis) which is supposed to be more hardy than the more common live oak Quercus virginiana.

I stumbled over some articles about Manzanitas (Arctostaphylos) which seem to be very popular for ornamental purpose in the US. They seem to be relatively unknown in Europe (apart from the two species native to Europe). Hardiness could probably a problem in cold areas here.
But not only that, fruit seems to be edible as well - same goes for the european species. Does anyone have experience growing any of these plants?
Is it worth growing these plants for the fruit and are there differences in taste and fruit quality?

Hello, has anyone grown Prunus brigantina (Briançon apricot/marmot plum/alpine aprico)? It's the only apricot-like wild species native to Europe.
Is it worth growing it? What does it taste like? Is there much difference to a regular apricot tree (especially taste-wise)? Where to get seeds of it?

Would love to hear if someone has experience growing this tree.

Does anyone know european sources for Myrica rubra (Yumberry) plants. Grafted plants of some chinese cultivars would be of special interest; didnt find any sellers so far.

Bonus: are there any cultivars which are more frost tolerant than  others?

I'm looking for some seeds or plant of Vasconcellea monoica - wild mountain papaya. Or maybe someone knows where to get one? preferable from Europe since customs can often be a problem.
