Yellow Anne Raspberry seeds on Ali Baba - legit?
« on: October 22, 2014, 09:09:44 AM »
Has anyone bought seeds of Alibaba?

I've been after Anne Raspberry for so long but I am sceptical of the Chinese seller on Alibaba. Although he has a high feedback rating and plenty of products, they are mostly seeds for which negative feedback can't really be left in time. He is also selling obviously photoshopped things like seeds of blue strawberries, etc.

Eugenia luschnathiana = CURUIRI.    Talisia esculenta = PITOMBA
I do not recommend people deal with Fruit Lovers, Prisca Mariya or Fernando Malpartida

You might be safer through ebay (seller is in US):

Never heard of this, but when reading the ebay description, it was originally discovered in FL.  Anyone have white raspberries growing near them in FL?

Stay way of seller selling seeds of multicolored roses, blue strawberries, giant peppers, breast melons and gourds, and so all are JUST JUNK.

These scammer are all over in EBAY, AMAZON, and someone with time should sue these giants to make some money and stop this disgrace for the good people.

I have Anne Golden (Yellow), not impressed. Maybe its the color thing.
I've heard Honey Queen is supposed to be better.  I'm a bit south for good raspberry production.  All of my raspberries are milder flavored than I'd like, I suspect it is just too hot and they drink way too much.  Mine are not real firm either.

Yes, but out of stock and probably dont deliver to AUS. Anyway feedback hasn't been as positive as elsewhere, so I might forget about it. Black raspberry on the other hand seems very popular so I might look into that.

I have one plant, I was out of town when they came in (didn't get too many, plant is young).  The birds got all but one of them, the one I had, amazing.  Hardly a quorum, but I am hopeful for next year.
The thorns on mine are like sharpened nails, they don't give splinters they make you look like you lost to a cat in a fight.
