Turns out the fruits I posted pics of are mauritius.

the brewsters are more watery, with a redder, and more spiked shell.

I like the Mauritius fruits better, because of the drier fruit, that doesn't spill everywhere like brewster.

I had a Hak ip fruit today that blew them both out of the water...the fruit was 1/3 bigger than any lychee ive eaten...i thought it was an emporer when it was handed to me.  Hak ip is by far the best lychee I've had...but have only tasted 4-5 types.

the only complaint I hear about Hak ip, is the trees arent reliable producers..making scant crops consistently for most growers.
