Noris Ledesma, Curator of Tropical Fruit at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden will present some alternatives for the urban forestry to provide the home owner with examples of tropical fruit in the urban landscape. Mango, Avocado, jackfruit, canistel, sapodilla, Carambola, guava have been a successful display element in back yards in South Florida for gardening. Anybody going tomorrow, to Bonita Springs, to hear Noris Ledesma, the Curator of Tropical Fruits of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden?

Noris Ledesma's presentation was an excellent presentation.  She is very knowledgeble and very enthusiastic about fruit trees.  She talked about cultivation, preservation, propagation, overseas collection of different mangiferas, and experimentation of new cultivars.  I strongly recommend Noris Ledesma as a speaker.
