looking for soft chew varieties of sugarcane

Hello all.

Looking to purchase a few good varieties of sugarcane. Buddha Belly, Halali, and others. Anyone growing sugarcane that can help me out? Any suggestions?

Ive seen those budha belly canes on ebay.  That stuff should be pretty easy to source.

Luke from GPF is a great guy with several different varieties of Sugarcane. The Buddha Belly and other varieties that bulge in the middle are a bit difficult to peel compared to the straight canes. The Asian Black/Purple is a great tasting variety that is easy to peel and is excellent for chewing.

In the past I have gone by local green grocers and curb vegetable markets selling Sugar Cane at a very good price.
They rooted very easy.
May not be exactly the variety you are looking for but the price was excellent and you can pick out pieces that are best for you.
