fingerlime trees For Florida
« on: March 09, 2019, 06:44:32 AM »
Can anyone suggest, where I can purchased Australian fingerlime (Citrus australasica) in Florida or online. I grow green fingerlime (purchased at the Harris Citrus Nursery), but looking for other color varieties. Thank you in advance.

No way!  Lucky! Each Home Depot offers different vendors. I haven’t seen them for sale where I am.
Is your fingelime fruiting already?

It had some last year but dropped them all. It's flowering right now. I also bought a small one for a friend and it has some fruits almost ripe.

Just a heads up on timeline from seed. I bought 10seeds each of a pink and a yellow variety about six years  ago online 3 total sprouted and one is just getting to the size where it might flower. About 10" tall. They also like a little more shade then other citrus. I've seen fruit scald on a larger green pulped variety that I have planted.

Thank you everyone for your insight. I will have my eyes pilled at the local Home Depot.

Good info to know. I just germinated a few seeds. Now I know to be patient and careful with them.
