I picked up this whopper at the farmers market yesterday , coming in from Santa Paula , CA.
I am hoping someone can ID the variety. Thanks.

Not sure, that was my first guess but I figured someone might know definitively. It definitely has lots of el bumpos all over.

Looks a lot like El Bumpo but very mediocre

it could also be Campos (from Spain) not to be confused by Campus. I got exact looking fruit from one of the growers and it was Campos. looks a lot like El Bulbo. Campos has thick skin. how was the skin on this one?

Yes Behl I though the same thing but these trees experimental trees have been in SoCal  5 year. They don't grow campas in Santa Paula

Skin was not thick, no grit. Perfectly ripe.
