Do Some Mango Trees Shed Leaves?

One of my mango trees (Angie) tends to shed a lot of leaves every year.  Maybe 25%?  The tree is healthy and always grows abundant new leaves.  My other mango trees do not do this.  Are there certain mango cultivars that behave this way?

My Kent sheds leaves but the Carrie and NDM do not.

My Cogshall sheds quite a bit of leaves; Pickering doesn't. 
Off topic but I want to ask TnTrobbie:  what's your opinion of the San Felipe mango?  Taste and texture?  What about the tree?  Is it a vigorous cultivar, disease resistant?  Etc. . .
