Wondering if anybody is fruiting myrciaria tenella, floribunda or Eugenia observa. Don't know if they are in season just thought I would try my luck.
Kind regards Don.

don.  sorry off topic, but I talked to some local flora specialists here. the e. koolauensis is endangered and are very susceptible to ohi'a rust (another rust disease associated with the ohi'a trees here).  apparently need to be fungicide quite a bit to keep it going.  on the other hand reinwardtiana is also considered native to Hawaii. both koolauensis and reinwardtiana referred to as 'nioi' in Hawaiian.  fyi.

Yeah thanks lance very interesting reading on it.  Found a bloke with tenella but he said it was 6 oddd years old and round 6ft tall but never produced a berry he says. Back on the hunt! Thanks also Luc. What is the season again?
Regards Don
