Hi all,

Really enjoying being part of this community.

Have a question: who runs this website?

Would like to offer them some free help to do simple things like install an SSL cert to make the site safer for all.

can anyone point me to the master admin?

I love the forum but I wish the website was safer-(https vs http)

Great recommendation. An SSL certificate shouldn't be too expensive.  8)

A SSL is free with most hosting providers. But this site runs fine without SSL.

We don’t ask for or process any personal or sensitive information. I don’t think https is that necessary for us.

If any of us admins has the time, maybe we will update the settings sometime in the future to add https or SSL.

It is true that an ssl cert is meant for sites that process personal information, as mentioned.

The advantage I see in having an ssl certificate is the preference google has for them when displaying search results.

Getting an ssl cert might increase traffic to the site.
