Hi guys,
I have all my scions of cherimoya pushing, they were grafted 16 days ago. I kept the plants indoors, no direct sun, in a steady range of temperature of 70-77ºF, watering carefully to avoid sap to push scion away from rootstock. At the same time I eliminated any new flush from rootstock following tips from Behl in an old post. So far so good, but last year I was in a similar situation and eventually lost many of them in the following weeks. So here some questions about what I must do now.
-Should I take the plants outdoors already and let them receive some direct sun at the last hours of the day? Or direct sun the whole day or keep them indoors for some weeks more? The forecasted range of min and max temperatures for the next 2 weeks in my location is 60-80ºF, sunny.
- Should I remove the flowers from the new flushes of the scions?
- When can I start to water in a normal rate?
