Passiflora arida - Desert Passionfruit

Anyone growing this... I have a 4 inch plant. What does the fruit taste like?

Is this cold hardy?

I ask because:
1) i might want to grow it
2) this is the Temperate, not Tropical, part of the forum  ;D

Got them from San Diego grower. This is not a tropical plant. Prefers dry conditions....grow then in zone 10a.

I got it from a SD grower too, maybe the same one. I don’t know about hardiness either since I’ve only grown it here.
Triloba tracker, it’s sweeter than incarnata for me. Fruits are kind of tiny, like grape size. Or it could be because I grew it in containers.

That sounds very interesting!  Did you get it from a nursery or other commercial grower?

I would advise against that.
Instead Send a “message” via the Forum directly to the users who are requesting the person’s contact info.
