Seeds for sale.

$1 each. 10 seed minimum. $4 shipping in padded mailer with tracking. USA only.

PM me with your order and I will send over the total with my paypal address.

The tree may be a natural hybrid with squamosa since the leaves are very large and the protuberances on the fruit. Here are the larger leaves of the Vino Tinto with a typical reticulata on top.

There is a possibility these seeds were crossed with this reticulata because I was favoring cross pollination when hand pollinating but there is no way of knowing since I didn't mark the flowers. There was also some Dream pollen in the mix at times. They could be crossed or not is all I am trying to say.

Here is the reticulata that it could be crossed with.

25% off promo code 25OFFWEB

If you order 3 or 4 you get free shipping. I just ordered 4 for less than $40 shipped. They have some with hoods as well but  I like them without better. I also order plain white so they are cooler.

I am 6'1 and 175lbs and the medium fits me perfect.

I have no attachment to this company it is just a good deal and can vouch for the product. Just thought it would help some people out.

Pitomba Eugenia luschnathiana seeds

Just now ripening.

$2 per seed. 5 seed minimum. $4 shipping with tracking in a padded envelope.

USA only.

PM me with your order and I will send the total and my paypal address.

These are really good. They remind me of apricots. I think this is a better strain then some others since I have tasted bad ones and other people have bad taste reports. I have branches from another tree from the same seed batch grafted onto this and they taste the same so they should be similar high quality.

I just had this tree identified recently and looked through most of what I could easily find on the internet about it. It seems to be pretty common in Vietnam and Thailand. Does anyone have any growing experiences with this? Is it monoecious? Taste reports?

12

Fresh Guillermo Ilama seeds for sale. Grown in Sarasota, FL.

$3 per seed. $4 for shipping in a padded mailer with tracking. USA only.

Please research how to grow these. Some have sprouted fresh for me before. Some I have used ga3. Some I have stored for 1-2 years. I think this fruit is massively underutilized.

Message me for my paypal. Thanks. - Josh

Sold Out. Thank you. I'll repost when I get some more fruit. Multiples seasons per year.

Fresh Florida grown Abiu seeds. $3 ea. $4 shipping in a padded mailer with tracking. USA only.

Decent flavor and super productive. Could possibly be crossed with other slightly better tasting less productive types since the tree has 5 different grafts on it. This is a seedling I bought from Zill's years ago.

PM me and I'll send my paypal info.

I'll be back on Tropical Fruit Forum a bit more. I took a much needed break from most social media, excessive phone use and whatnot outside of a couple dedicated projects. Thanks for looking.  - Josh

Looking for B-10 and B-17 carambola scions. Thanks!

21
I am pruning soon. USA only. 2 scion minimum order. Mix how you like.

$4 per scion. $4 shipping.

Dream
Vinho Tinto Seedling
Annona spraguei

Sent in padded envelope with tracking. All scions will be wrapped in Buddy Tape.

The Vinho Tinto seedling hasn't fruited yet because it never gets hand pollination at it's location. Nice healthy tree that flowers heavily and is fully mature. Looks like reticulataish but probably a natural hybrid with squamosa. Search for more info. One thread is here. http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=13472.75

Dream is the best tasting Annona I have grown.

Annona spraguei has fruited. I don't know of a compatible rootstock but scions are for sale. More info here. http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=35410.msg371260#msg371260

Message me for paypal info.

EDIT: All scions will be wrapped in Buddy Tape.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Best tasting Mexican race avocado cultivars
« on: January 13, 2020, 01:56:28 PM »
What are the tastiest cultivars? Stewart/Mexicola/Mexicola Grande? I have a Bacon here which I like but is that a true Mexican avo? I remember hearing reports that the more common cold hardy avocados don't taste very good like Opal, Gainesville and Joey and whatnot. I don't need the cold hardiness, I am just interested in interesting flavors and flowering.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Inga edulis set fruit in Sarasota, FL
« on: January 04, 2020, 11:11:39 AM »
Just saw my first fruit set on my real deal Inga edulis tree. Has anyone seen Inga edulis fruiting in Florida before? I was hoping for my gold medal if I can get it to mature.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Lecythis in Florida
« on: December 11, 2019, 02:13:28 AM »
I have been wanting to grow Lecythis species for quite a while and I saw that Fruit and Spice had a Lecythis pisonis recently planted out.  I think John Painter mentioned he either fruited it or still has a fruiting tree but I could be wrong. Anyone growing any of these in Florida. This video with Paul Recher mentions that they are surprisingly hardy.

https://youtu.be/k3SGgLSOYu4

Another thing that I was curious about was the studies on the selenium content and the poisoning from eating too many. I am guessing the study happened in it's native range and I wonder if the nuts grown somewhere else without excess selenium in the soil would have lower amount to allow for safely eating a lot more.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Bocar guava
« on: November 14, 2019, 04:00:09 PM »
Does anyone have any info on this. I had a graft take and just pulled an air layer off of a friends tree. Maurice Kong has been propagating these. The only info my friend has is that the fruit is supposed to be resistant to pests.
